This Black History Month OR Women's History Month-Themed Reader’s Theatre is an engaging way to teach your students about Rosa Parks and the Civil Rights Movement, while also helping to improve reading skills and fluency. Your students will enjoy reading and learning about Rosa Parks and the bus boycott of 1955 as they act out the script.

What is this Readers' Theatre About?

This story is about 3 children, their parents, and their grandparents having dinner together. The children have some questions about segregation and the parents and grandparent explain what it was and how Rosa Parks helped eradicate segregation on buses.
